Northern Door Sports and Rec Launches Registration Platform

Northern Door Sports and Recreation has launched an online platform and administrative support at northerndoorrec.com for clubs, organizers, instructors and coaches. The platform hosts listings for sports leagues, seasonal programs, single-day workshops, memberships and weekly meetups. 

Online registration can be set up for organizers who need to collect registrations and waivers from participants. 

Community members, associations and clubs are encouraged to submit contact information and program or league listings at northerndoorrec.com. Instructors with experience in sports, fitness, music or art who are interested in alerting the community to their availability to teach or who are already teaching may contact founder Rachel Stollenwork at [email protected]. 

Stollenwerk said she hopes the platform will connect people – especially children – to the many local opportunities for recreation. 

“Too many kids are either driving two-plus hours a day to get access to quality sports programming or not participating in anything at all,” she said. “We have opportunities here but need to make it easy for community members to organize and get people’s information.”
