Obituary: Ann Langohr

Ann Langohr, 62, of Baileys Harbor, died Aug. 22. She was born in Sturgeon Bay to Cecil and Mary Lou Surfus. She was preceded in death by her Mother, sister Susie and young brother Vernon. She is survived by her husband Marvin, father Cecil (Donna Henderson), her brothers Paul (Joanne),Tom (Christine), Louis (Sheri) and sister Lisa (Willie) Zaborowske. In addition, there are many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces which were a joy to her. Ann spent time working in the shipyards as an electrician and electrical tester on the ships. Ann enjoyed boating and diving, earning a Dive Master Certificate as well as a Master Diver Certification. Teaching diving and the resulting trips and vacations generated many wonderful memories. Her favorite hobby was to garage sale, which turned into a resale venture to ease the storage problem. She was employed as a waitress in the later years to facilitate winters in the south where she continued water activities and gardening year round.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Aug. 28, 2016 at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport from Noon until 3 pm. This will be a potluck if you wish to bring a dish to pass.
