Obituary: Anthony “Tony” F. Magliaro

February 8, 1959 ~ January 7, 2023

Anthony “Tony” F. Magliaro, 63, of Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, died Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Aurora Bay Care Clinic in Green Bay after a lengthy illness.

He was born February 8, 1959, in Encino, CA the son of the late Anthony Peter and Laurel (Moulton) Magliaro. Tony graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas in 1976. He was employed as a casino porter for 25 years at Ceasars Palace until his retirement.

On November 8, 1978, he married Patricia Moore, in Las Vegas. Upon their divorce, on August 10, 1984, he married Karen Defelice and had four children. Upon their divorce, he married his current wife on July 3, 1998, Frances P. Birch, in Las Vegas. Tony and Frances were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple in August 2002.

Tony was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sturgeon Bay.

Surviving family includes his wife, Frances of Sturgeon Bay; children, Amanda Jo Magliaro of Las Vegas, Anthony Robert Magliaro of Appleton, Michael Gordon Magliaro of Sturgeon Bay, Michelle Rose Magliaro, and Dominique Iacobucci Magliaro of Sturgeon Bay; siblings, Lorna Magliaro of Sturgeon Bay, Jayna Magliaro of Las Vegas; niece, Kari Garcia of Las Vegas; nephews, Robert Wallace of Sturgeon Bay and Edward Garcia of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren, Ryanna and Anthony Jr. Magliaro.

Deceased are his parents; and a daughter, Cara Louise Magliaro.

A memorial service is being planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sturgeon Bay.

Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting financial support for Tony’s funeral expenses.
