Obituary: Bethany Ann VanDreese

Bethany Ann VanDreese, 48, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June.

Beth was born June 7, 1969 in Elpaso, TX, the daughter of Richard Sr. and Linda (Wilda) VanDreese. She graduated from Southern Door High School in 1987. Beth worked for Door County Humane Society and more recently for Econo Foods in Sturgeon Bay.

She attended Sturgeon Bay Community Church and church bible classes. Beth had the biggest heart of anyone we knew, and believed that her mission in life was to help others. She loved animals, especially dog and cats. Beth loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, drag racing, stock car races, contemporary Christian music, classic rock, and cooking.

Her family includes her son, Robert Corbisier; mother, Linda VanDreese; brother, Rick VanDreese; and her partner, Toby Vandenberg.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, Richard VanDreese, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Adline Wilda; and paternal grandparents, Donald and LaVerne VanDreese.

A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Shannon Souther officiating.

Friends may call at Huehns Funeral Home on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Memorials may be given in Beth’s memory for the Door County Humane Society.
