Obituary: Cheryl Nault

June 24, 1958 ~ August 17, 2022

Cheryl Ann Nault, 64, Sturgeon Bay died surrounded by her family at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee on August 17, 2022.  She was born June 24, 1958, in Sturgeon Bay to Aaron and Mary (Greenfelder) Claflin. 

She married Gary Nault on September 8, 1979, in Sturgeon Bay.  Cheryl enjoyed her job, and camping with her friends and family.  She loved the Brewers, ice cream, her grand kids and being at home.  Cheryl helped start the first bass tournament in Sturgeon Bay and ran the Kid’s Fishing Derby on Father’s Day for 37 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; 3 children, Nick (Megan Welch) Nault, Sturgeon Bay; Kimberly (Ed Quick) Nault, Green Bay; Becky (Mike) Pride, Milwaukee; three stepchildren, Matt (Denise) Nault, Gulfport, MS; Tim Nault, MS; Paul (Pam) Nault, MS; 10 grandchildren, Devin, Layla, and Caleb Nault; Islie Diedrick, and Vivien Quick; Ruby and Violet Pride; Eva Clair, Haynes, and Briggs Nault.  2 Sisters, Nancy Delveaux and Patty (Rick) Lemere; 4 In-laws; Chum (Linda) Nault; Marilu (John) Djuplin; Kathy (Gary) Behling; Vicki Claflin; beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wayne Claflin and parents-in-law, Walter, and Louise Nault; 1 brother-in-law, George Delveaux.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Monday, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.   Visitation will continue at Corpus Christi Church after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.   Memorials may be given to DoorCANcer or The Father’s Day Fishing Derby.
