Obituary: Joshua J. DuBois

Joshua J. DuBois, 41, of Sturgeon Bay, died unexpectedly at home. He was the son of James and Sandra DuBois. He attended Southern Door High School where he enjoyed being part of the wrestling team. He worked at restaurants throughout Door County and was a highly skilled waiter and bartender. He also worked on various fishing charter services and presently was first mate with RV Charters out of Algoma. On Aug. 15, 2016, he married the love of his life, Stephanie Ann Gunnlaugsson, at her mother’s home in Sturgeon Bay. They were together six years. Together, they enjoyed camping, bonfires, bowling and date night. He was a kind, gentle soul who loved the outdoors, being on the water or in the woods. Funeral services will be held at 5 pm, Aug. 20 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated by his family.
