Obituary: Katharine B. Faulkner

Katharine B Faulkner, age 75, of Sister Bay, passed away unexpectedly in her home due to natural causes on March 1, 2017.   She was born Nov. 2, 1941 and raised in Waukegan, IL and moved to Sister Bay in 2004.  She spent her time gardening, quilting, playing with her grandchildren, and volunteering at Bargains.  She was also a member of the Trillium Quilt Guild.  Her favorite place was sitting on a beach, either on Cape Cod or Door County.   She was a loving mother to Jonathan Orrick (Megan) of Sister Bay, Mark Faulkner (Noreen) of Plymouth, MN, and David Faulkner of San Diego, CA.  Katie’s pride and joy were her grandchildren; Karee, Carson, Cora, Klara, Kristin & Cosette Orrick, Michael & Shannon Faulkner, Sarah & Jasmine Faulkner, and great-granddaughter Selena.  There will be a private family service on Cape Cod.
