Obituary: Terry Bosman

Terry Bosman, 60, of Sturgeon Bay passed away on May 6, 2016.  He was born March 15, 1956 in Sturgeon Bay to Henry and Lydia (Jacquet) Bosman.  On October 23, 1976 he married Catherine Lau in Sturgeon Bay.

Terry spent his early years working in the shipyards in Sturgeon Bay.  He then went into business for himself doing carpentry and home repair work.  Later in his life, he joined the brothers of Carpenters Local #1146 and retired at the age of 57.

During his life he enjoyed spending time in the woods, restoring models As, doing taxidermy, and hunting. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family and was very proud of being a grandpa.

Survivors include his wife Cathy, three children, Matthew (Angela) Bosman and their children, Ellison, Charli, and Nora of New Franken; Michael (Shauna) Bosman and their son Isaac and a “Baby on the way” of Clinton, MO; Samantha Bosman, Green Bay; his mother, Lydia Bosman, Sturgeon Bay; a brother, Henry Bosman, Chippewa Falls; a sister, Betty (Don) Sixel, Jr., Sturgeon Bay; mother-in-Law, Sally Lau, Sturgeon Bay; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Forbes Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Seelman officiating.  Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
