Obituary: Thomas “Tom” Hall

March 27, 1956 ~ April 2, 2022

Thomas David Hall, 66 of Sturgeon Bay, died peacefully at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with family by his side on April 2, 2022. He was born in Topeka, Kanas to Howard and Patricia (Reise) Hall as the older twin of Rick Hall. Tom met Karen Luedeman while attending Automotive School in Phoenix, Arizona; they married in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 7, 1980. Tom’s pride and joy was his family and daughters: Michelle and Laura.

Tom was known for love of cooking, gift of gab, his sense of humor, love for the Packers, teasing his grandkids, and love for fishing. Tom cooked all throughout Door County and was known as “The Light Guy” servicing the greater state of Wisconsin with D & D Lighting.

Tom is survived by his wife Karen; eldest daughter Michelle (Zachary) Schmidt, and youngest daughter Laura Hall; grandchildren, Lillian and Maximus Schmidt; mother Patricia Bolen, and brothers, Michael (Ruth) Hall, Bob Kimbrell and Greg Bolen all of Sacramento, California; and sister-in-law Carol Hall of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Hall and brother Rick Hall.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.  Visitation will continue at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum (Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd. Green Bay, WI) on Thursday, April 7 from 10:00 am until a memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am.  Online condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
