Europe Lake Lodge

Est.1918 Europe Lake Lodge (formally Europe Lake Cottages) is home to 3 seasonal cottages, log cabin & year-round house. The quaint lodge is surrounded by the adventures of Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Gills Rock & the short ferry ride to Washington Island. After owned by the Smith family for over 100 years, Kent & Gwen became just the 2nd owners to host the resort. Not being available to the public since 2020, they’re bringing the resort back to life, welcoming guests once again- a labor of love that continues. The Lodge is on Europe Lake right next to the boat launch. With easy access, guests drop boats in & to the docks with close to 250 feet of frontage to enjoy`. Included in a stay the lodge has row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards & life jackets in multi sizes for complimentary use. If a unique Door County stay beckoning back to a simpler time oozing in vintage camp style with limited modern amenities is what you like Europe Lake Lodge is the place. Several of the cabins are pet friendly. Wood View is furnished in retro camp carefully selected. The cottage boasts a charming bedroom and double sized sleeper to expand to sleeping for four. Lake Breeze was the 1st built next to Europe Lake in 1950. A 4-season porch adds to this 2-bedroom cottage with spectacular view of Europe Lake, only steps away. Lake View was built by Europe Lake next to her sister Lake Breeze. This 2-bedroom cottage has a spectacular view of Europe Lake, especially from its porches. The Däck Haus boasts 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. It has Scandinavian charm with beautiful views from the upper deck of the Lake. The Haus sleeps nine. The prior owners’ grandparent’s built Smith’s Log Cabin in 1927. It oozes charm of the logs & has a vaulted loft with a fun kids area upstairs. It has 2 bedrooms which sleep 6. It’s tucked in the forest -beautiful lake views! The season is open for bookings & we would like to welcome you to Europe Lake Lodge!
