OtherWorlds Hosts Book Signing

OtherWorlds Books & More is celebrating National Poetry Month with a poetry-book signing April 23, 10 am – 2 pm. 

One featured poet will be Mike Orlock, who was appointed Door County’s poet laureate in 2021. He’s a former high school teacher and coach who retired to Sturgeon Bay. Among his honors are the Wisconsin Writers’ Association’s Jade Ring Award and the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets’ Muse Prize.

The other featured poet, Thomas Davis, is an educator, environmentalist and writer, and he’s been the president or chief academic officer of five tribal colleges and universities in the United States, He runs Four Windows Press with his wife and fellow poet, Ethel Mortenson.
