OVERHEARD

Are there tid-bits of conversations you’ve heard while standing in line at the grocery store, serving a table, or walking down the sidewalk that make you smile, cringe or laugh out loud?

“Give me all your coconuts.”

“What have we learned? Never get in a strange basket.”

“You look like a sporty unitard.”

“He reminds me of someone…but it might just be him…”

“It smells like ethnic food and sewage.”

PET PEEVES

Is there something that really irks you, gets your goat, rubs you the wrong way, drives you up the wall, gets you bent out of shape, puts a stick in your craw, or makes you want to throw in the towel?

The word “vibe”

Taking the time to count out exact change, only to be five cents short

Having “Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang” by Silver stuck in my head all day long
