Overheard and Obsessions: June 17-24, 2016

OVERHEARD

Are there tid-bits of conversations you’ve heard while standing in line at the grocery store, serving a table, or walking down the sidewalk that make you smile, cringe or laugh out loud?

“I’m not a human motorcycle.”

“No no no no no! No pooping in the garlic.”

“So I’m gonna be hangry and sweaty when I get there?”

“My lips are chapped again from the nerves.”

“If that were a Pokémon and you were playing Pokémon Snap, you would receive points for action.”

“This was a lie. She is not pregnant. Should have figured, it’s In Touch.”

“I was trying to gracefully accept that I went too far, you a**.”

“I’m slotted to get 7 hours of sleep tonight! Let’s hope the dogs can be supportive of this goal.”
