Friday, March 4

Owl-O-Rama

Celebrate the fantastic raptor during The Ridges’ Owl-O-Rama weekend celebration, March 4-5. Highlights include crafts, owl prowls, nest box building and live owls.

Tales Of Our Lives

Enjoy empowerment through performance during the Women’s Fund of Door County’s “Tales of Our Lives,” story slam with musical interludes by Dorothy Scott and Jess Holland. 7 pm.

Saturday, March 5

A Sand County Almanac

Celebrate Aldo Leopold Weekend with a progressive marathon reading of his classic essay collection A Sand County Almanac at four different locations throughout the peninsula.

Children’s Carnival at Zion

Enjoy two bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, a petting zoo and more at Zion Lutheran School and Early Childhood Center’s children’s carnival. 10 am.

Cornhole Tournament

Enjoy an adult night out with friends, food, beer and cornhole. The boards – built, designed and painted by Gibraltar students – will be auctioned off. Cash prizes and a silent auction will round out this benefit for the Friends of Gibraltar. 5 pm.

2 Drummers, 2 Deejays and 5 MC’s

Watch drummers Zach Vogel and Jamie Clark, Deejays Siphonic and The Fabricator, and MC’s SPADE ONE, M.C. Swiggz, Scotty MC NV Walker and M.C. Skillz throw down all at one time. 9 pm.

Sheepshead at the Brewery

Slow down your Sunday afternoon with this refresher on Sheepshead by Barley Bob and friends. 1 – 3 pm.
