Pen Park Holds Candlelight Ski/Hike

Everyone is invited to join the Friends of Peninsula State Park on Jan. 19 for a leisurely ski or snowshoe outing on the Peninsula State Park golf course. From 11 am – 1 pm, individuals and families will enjoy skiing on tracked, level trails or snowshoeing on the course. Cookies and cider will be served around the fireplace in the warming shelter after the outing.

Peninsula State Park’s 7th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike takes place Feb. 2, 5:30 – 8 pm. Participants will enjoy a tour through the woods, a bonfire, and cookies and cider in the warming shelter.

Volunteers are needed to help with parking, candle set-up and candle lighting – if interested, call 920.868.3258.

State Park admission stickers are required. These events are not open to pets.

Events will be cancelled if weather conditions are severe.
