Peninsula Players 77th Season Schedule

Peninsula Players opens its 77th season with the Wisconsin debut of Opus by Michael Hollinger on June 12 through June 24. Larry Shue’s sidesplitting comedy The Nerd follows from June 27 through July 22. The Broadway musical Chicago, by Fred Ebb, Bob Fosse and John Kander, will take place from July 25 through Aug. 12 followed by Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile from Aug. 15 through Sept. 2. Closing the season is Lombardi by Eric Simonson, which will run from Sept. 5 through Oct. 14.

“The Peninsula Players 77th year is filled with music, laughter, and thrills,” Artistic Director Greg Vinkler said. “We truly hope audiences enjoy it. The plays are filled with a behind-the-music look at a string quartet, a hilarious comedy, a jazzy musical, a sharp-edged mystery, and the glimpse into the life of a legendary sports icon.”

The Peninsula Players perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 7:30 pm in the summer. There are also 4 pm matinees on June 24, July 4, July 22, Aug. 12, Sept. 2 and additional matinees for Lombardi on Sept. 16, 23 and Oct. 14.

Fall shows open on Sept. 5 with curtain times at 7 pm, Tuesdays through Sundays.
