Peninsula Players Featured in “Free Night of Theater” Program

Peninsula Players in Fish Creek is one of the Wisconsin theaters participating in the Theatre Communications Group (TCG)’s annual “Free Night of Theater” program. The program will open across the country on Thursday, October 15.

This successful national program was designed to attract new patrons to live theatre and give existing patrons access to venues they might not be familiar with. This fall, theatre-goers from coast to coast will be given the opportunity to attend performances presented by over 750 theatres, in more than 120 cities, completely free of charge.

Besides Door County’s Peninsula Players, who will be offering free tickets to their current show, Around the World in 80 Days, other participating Wisconsin theatre companies include First Stage Children’s Theater, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater.

Performances for “Free Night of Theater” in Wisconsin will run October 15 – 20, with tickets becoming available starting October 1 at noon. A complete list of participating cities and theaters can be seen and reservations for shows can be made at http://www.freenightoftheater.net.
