Peninsula Players Theatre Cancels Remainder of Season

Peninsula Players Theatre has canceled the remainder of its 2020 season, which had included an autumn performance of Richard Dresser’s Rounding Third

In mid-April, the nonprofit professional theater company had announced the cancellation of its 85th summer season for the safety of its artists, volunteers, patrons, employees and the community. Peninsula Players has kept its audience engaged by launching Pastimes – a bright spot in the day – and its interview series, Peninsula Players Presents: recorded virtual conversations between Artistic Director Greg Vinkler and guests to provide a glimpse beyond the footlights.

The theater grounds will remain closed until further notice in accordance with social-distancing regulations. All ticket holders will be offered options: donating the ticket value to Peninsula Players, converting the ticket value into a gift certificate for a future show, receiving a refund or a combination of these.
