Photography Opening at the Base Camp Coffee Bar

The Base Camp Coffee Bar and Tim Erskine announce a photography show opening Saturday, May 15 from 5 pm to– 7 pm, featuring wine and hors d’oeuvres. On display will be extra large prints of Erskine’s landscape, nature, and astronomical photographs taken primarily in northern Door County.

The son of a nuclear physicist father and an artist mother, Erskine, a mechanical engineer by trade, draws inspiration from his knowledge of science and his love of the arts. Erskine enjoys nighttime photography, using a long-exposure method that brings out the stars. Other prints feature flowers, the rich fall colors of Door County and local wildlife.

A free contest to win an Erskine photo and Base Camp drinks will be held during the final week of the show in June.
