Poetry Readings at Sturgeon Bay Library on Sept. 21

Two Door County poetry organizations will collaborate for two readings, open to the public, on Sept. 21 at the Sturgeon Bay Library in the Jane Green Room. At 6 pm, the Sturgeon Bay Poetry Circle will have their monthly meeting, which is an open sharing of poems. At 7:15 pm, Write On, Door County will sponsor a reading from Soundings: Door County in Poetry. The book, which provides a portrait of Door County in words, was published by Caravaggio Press in 2015 and is available at The Clearing, Peninsula Bookman and Write On. Proceeds from sales that evening will go to Write On, Door County.
