Presentation on Recognizing Human Trafficking May 23

The public is invited to attend “Recognizing Human Trafficking,” presented by Carl Waterstreet, Special Agent, Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation.

This 90-minute presentation follows up on the film, Stopping Traffic, and takes the attendees a bit deeper, with statistics, myths/facts of trafficking, what to watch for and what to do.

Attendees will learn how to define human trafficking, identify signs of a human trafficking victim, recognize characteristics of a trafficker, and demonstrate appropriate action when signs of trafficking are observed.
