Register for Write On’s Fiction Writing Conference

Registration for Write On, Door County’s Writing on the Door: Fiction Writing Conference, to be held May 1-2, is now open. 

Writing enthusiasts of all abilities and interests are welcome to participate in two days’ worth of seminars, workshops, conversations and presentations on the art of writing fiction. World-class faculty members will include Nickolas Butler, Lan Samantha Chang, Peter Ho Davies, Peter Geye, C.J. Hribal, Rebecca Makkai, Jennifer Morales and Diane Zinna.

The conference will be held at various Sister Bay locations, including the village hall, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Peninsula Bookman and elsewhere. Watch for details about one-to-one manuscript critiques and a literary trolley tour based on Rebecca Makkai’s novel The Great Believers, which is partially set in Door County.

Registration for both May 1 and May 2 is $225; registration for May 1 only is $150; registration for May 2 only is $100. Write On, Door County members receive a 10 percent discount.
