Representatives Todd Novak and Joel Kitchens to Attend PFLAG Meeting

Assembly District 51 Representative Todd Novak and Assembly District 1 Representative Joel Kitchens will attend the PFLAG Door County meeting at Hope Church, 141 S. 12th Ave., Sturgeon Bay, on April 17 at 5 pm. Representative Novak is the first openly gay elected Republican representative in the Wisconsin Assembly. He and his partner of 18 years live in Dodgeville and are together raising two teenage boys. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear Novak’s story and discuss LGBT issues. An informal potluck meal will be held; those with last names beginning with A-L should bring an appetizer or salad and those with last names beginning with M-Z should bring a dessert.
