The Sturgeon Bay Common Council backed the first reading of an ordinance on Tuesday to rezone a vacant, triangular-shaped parcel at the southeast corner of Utah Street and 18th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay to build 15 part residential/part storage condominiums.
If given final approval March 19, the 2.78-acre site will switch from single-family residential (R-1) to two-family residential (R-3).
Ryan Polzin of Peshtigo, who has an option to purchase the property, wants to construct Boat House Motor Condos – condos with space to store boats.
