Rogue Theater Holds Shoe Drive

Local community-theater troupe Rogue Theater is conducting a shoe drive from April 20 to June 22. 

Fundraising organization Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes and proceeds will fund technology updates in Rogue’s Sturgeon Bay theater, DC Arts Center. Funds2Orgs will then redistribute the donated shoes to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries where economic opportunities and jobs are limited, helping them create, maintain and grow small businesses.

Drop off gently worn, used and new shoes at the DC Arts Center, 10 am – 12 pm on April 20, May 4 and 18, and June 1 and 22.

The DC Arts Center is located at 917 N 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay,

Alternately, shoes can be dropped off at collection boxes in the following locations during their business hours:

• Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay
• Shoe Sensation in Cherry Point Mall, 1300 Egg Harbor Road in Sturgeon Bay
• The Simple Solution, 10331 N. Water St. (Hwy 42) in Ephraim
