Run Wild at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay

The 23rd annual Run Wild three-mile and 10K events will be held October 1 at 10 am at beautiful Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay. The Smokey Bear Run for youth ages two to 10 years old will take place at 11:15 am. All youth runners will receive Smokey the Bear medallions.

This year, the event will have five-year age groups. Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each age bracket.

Participants can pick up packets on September 30 from 5 to 7 pm at Path & Paddle, at the corner of 1st Avenue and Oregon Street in Sturgeon Bay.

The park will be free park admission until noon on the day of the race. Runners who “go green” and come by bike to the race will be eligible for a special door prize.
