Schools Delayed 2 Hours in Door County Monday, Feb. 25

Gibraltar, Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, St. John Bosco and St. Peter’s schools are all delayed two hours Monday morning due to cold temperatures and high winds that has made driving dangerous the last 24 hours.

In Kewaunee County, Luxemburg-Casco and Kewaunee are both closed today, while Algoma is also on a two-hour delay.

Northern Door Children’s Center will open at 9:30 am.

High winds drifted snow across roads and made driving nearly impossible in northern Door County Sunday. The Door County Sheriff’s Department closed Highway 57 north of Valmy and urged people to stay off roadways.
