Screening of Documentary Film “Tiny”

Greens N Grains will feature a screening of the documentary film Tiny. Today’s tiny house movement is more concerned with the ideal of simplifying life rather than escaping to solitude, considering which comforts and possessions can be done without in order to live a life that is more deliberate. Though they live on a smaller scale, most tiny house owners still commute to jobs every day. Some even have families. Tiny takes us inside six tiny homes stripped to their essentials, exploring the owners’ stories and the design innovations that make them work.

This is a coming-of-age story for a generation that is more connected, yet less tied-down than ever, and for a society that is redefining its priorities in the face of a changing financial and environmental climate. The screening is on March 19 at 7 pm in Egg Harbor at Greens N Grains Cafe.

The Cafe at Greens N Grains Natural Food Store offers a natural and organic dinner special each evening before the Film Society screening. Enjoy a delicious soup specialty, salad, a fresh baked roll and a cup of tea for $7.50, available from 6 pm on. Seating is limited to 28 people. Dinner and film reservations are requested. RSVP by calling 920.868.9999 or by email to [email protected].
