Seminar: How to Sell your Art Online

You’re a wonderful artist and can paint circles around the competition. Trouble is, not many people know about your talent because you don’t have a clue how to promote or sell your artwork online.

Well, help is here! Artists Guild is sponsoring a seminar that will get your artwork online as effectively and cheaply as possible. Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 pm Octane Creative (a creative design and marketing firm) will present "How To Promote and Sell Your Art Online."

The presentation will include: how to get a domain name, forwarding and a personalized email address for under $10 a year; how to set up a web site; how to get a free online gallery; how to sell original art online for free; how to sell prints online (print on demand); how to promote yourself online and off; how to use email lists and blogs; how to photograph your art for online sales; and how to sit back and let your art make money for you.

The seminar will be about an hour long and include a question and answer time as well as a little wine to help you get comfortable enough to ask questions. It will be held in the room above Small World Market at 139 North Third Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. Cost is $15 at the door but space is limited, so reservations are encouraged.
