Sevastopol Elementary Raises Funds for VFW Post 3088

Sevastopol Elementary has a program called the Community of Caring, through which each grade level is responsible for a different segment of the community. 

Recently, students participated in a “penny war” – a fun coin-collection effort – to raise funds for the local VFW Post 3088. The school was divided into two teams for friendly competition. At the end, Sevastopol Elementary was able to present Bill Graf, quartermaster from the post, with a check in the amount of $1,111.11, in honor of Veterans Day being held on 11/11. The funds will support various veterans projects in the area.
