Advance tickets are now on sale online for the Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay’s 29th annual Shipyard Tour on May 7. For one day each year, Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding opens its doors to the public for tours of the shipbuilding industry.
This tour requires a considerable amount of walking and standing on gravel surfaces, so wear appropriate shoes. Parking is available at Bay Shipbuilding and in city lots.
The Door County Maritime Museum will offer half off admission to all Shipyard Tour ticket holders May 7-8 to welcome maritime lovers to explore the museum and learn about local shipbuilding history. The Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower also provides a memorable way to see Sturgeon Bay.
All Shipyard Tour ticket proceeds support charitable projects of the Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay and Rotary Youth Interact.
Buy tickets in advance at DoorCountyTickets.com, or find “Sturgeon Bay Rotary Shipyard Tours” on Facebook. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $7 for youth ages 11-17.Email questions about the Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay or the tour to [email protected] or [email protected]
