Short Shots

After playing golf on and off for the past 54 years, Jim Rossol of Baileys Harbor finally knocked in his first hole-in-one at The Orchards on Thursday, May 20. He scored his ace on hole #6, with a 7-iron from the 145-yard blue tees. He never saw it go in but heard a loud “thwack.” Approaching the green, there were no ball marks, so he and his playing partner assumed the ball hit the pin and went in on a fly.
