Sievers School Opens for 39th Season

Sievers School of Fiber Arts will begin its 39th season teaching classes in weaving, knitting, spinning, quilting, basketry, surface design, beadwork, book and paper arts, dyeing, wearables and more on June 5.

Sievers School welcomes all levels of adult students to spend uninterrupted time learning from knowledgeable and encouraging instructors in a tranquil setting, surrounded by natural beauty. There are 41 classes offered from June through October.

The Sievers Shop, located in an 1890-built schoolhouse, is open to the public daily from 10 am – 5 pm. The shop features original fiber arts and fine crafts handmade by the students and teachers of Sievers School including baskets, handwoven items, home accessories, jewelry and wearables along with quality knitting and weaving yarns, a full range of fiber art related books, sewing and knitting notions, fabric and other fiber arts supplies.
