Sister Bay Historical Society Hosts Saturday Farmer’s Markets

The popular Saturday morning Farmer’s Market hosted by the Sister Bay Historical Society will kick off another season on June 25. The market will take place from 8 am – noon at the Corner of the Past Museum.

A wide and colorful variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers in season will be offered by approximately two dozen vendors. There will also be prepared foods from area certified kitchens available.

Heritage demonstrations featuring a variety of traditional hand-crafts are also a weekly feature either inside or just in front of the Koessl Barn. These are presently by local artisans from 9 – 11 am. For more information or to view a complete season schedule, visit http://www.sisterbayhistory.org.

The Corner of the Past Museum is located at the intersection of Highway 57, Country Lane and Fieldcrest Road, one mile south of downtown Sister Bay.

The museum’s buildings and displays, including the Old Anderson House, will be open for visitors from 11 am – 3 pm with docents available to provide information and answer questions.
