Sister Bay Ice Out Contest Winner Announced

With gail warnings posted and 50-mph winds coming straight down the bay, the 85th Ice Out Contest came to a close April 1 when the Goat on a Boat succumbed to Mother Nature’s April Fool’s surprise. The goat floated slowly at 9:11 am, then capsized off Dock A in the Sister Bay Marina. 

Jeanne Mosurinjohn won the Al Johnson’s prize of a $25 gift certificate and the $100 cash grand prize. Her husband, Craig Mosurinjohn, was the grand-prize winner in 2022.
