Sister Bay Seeks Parks Input

The Village of Sister Bay is hosting a special session to gather resident input about what they would like to see improved at village parks. The input will help the village prioritize projects and inform its Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan.

The public input session will be held on Monday, Oct. 30, from 3-6 pm at the Sister Bay/ Liberty Grove Fire Station on Mill Road. The session will be formatted differently than a typical input session and will include games and budgeting activities to engage the public to understand how tax dollars get spent. 

There are six activities planned to solicit input, as well as information on Dark Sky Initiatives, including a speaker from Newport State Park. A coloring exercise will be included for children to show their favorite activity at village parks.
