Slinger Student Wins State-Park Sticker Contest

A loon and chick floating on a calm body of water by Slinger High School sophomore Samantha Williams is the winning design for the 2024 Wisconsin State Park admission-sticker design contest. Williams’ design will be printed on state park and forest annual vehicle-admission stickers that will be displayed on more than 500,000 vehicles. The 2024 stickers will go on sale Nov. 24, 2023.

Now in its 33rd year, the annual DNR-sponsored design contest is open to high school–age students who attend public, private, parochial or home schools in the state.
