Some Snowmobile Trails Open in Door County

The Southeast Section of the Door County Snowmobile Trail System is open as of noon, Dec. 27, 2017, the Door County Airport and Parks Department announced today.

The southeast secion is from Culver’s restaurant in Sturgeon Bay, over the Bayview Bridge. It includes Potawatomi State Park and the Ahnapee State Trail to the Southern Door County line at County Road X.

Conditions are fair, and riders are urged to use caution. Stay off of waterways, standing water, swampy areas, lakes and rivers. Be alert as groomer is on the trails.

All other trail sections are closed.
