Sól Grass Music Festival Announces Lineup

The third Sól Grass Music Festival will return to Washington Island June 16-17, when bluegrass fans can explore everything the island has to offer and take in performances by 12 of the best national touring, regional and local bands.

Them Coulee Boys are headlining this year’s festival, joined by Chicken Wire Empire, Wood Belly, Dig Deep, Miles over Mountains, Buffalo Galaxy, Good Morning Bedlam, The Cody Sisters Band, High and Rising, Long Mama, The Milbillies, and Steve Stone and the Washington Island Eastsiders.

The performances will run 4-11 pm on both Friday and Saturday, but the music-making won’t end there: Festival-goers are encouraged to take their instruments to enjoy spontaneous jams with fellow campers and band members. Even if you don’t play an instrument, you can enjoy the late-night music scene.The weekend will be a great time to relax, reconnect with family and old friends, make new friends, explore the island before the music starts each night, gaze at the stars and pick a new tune.
