Sōmi Gallery Highlights The Yellow Room

SŌMI Gallery will host an opening reception in The Third Room – its special-exhibition space – Oct. 22, 5-7 pm.

Artists Meg Lionel Murphy, Claire Kat Erickson and Jen Hough make up the collective The Yellow Room, founded in 2020 to provide a physical studio space in Sturgeon Bay and a sense of community for its members. 

SŌMI Gallery, 45 S. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, exhibits paintings and jewelry by The Yellow Room, as well as an installation that evokes the collective’s creative energy. This exhibition will function as an interactive residency in which young artists will be invited to share in the creative experience with the group.
