Sophia Pollman Collects “Jackets of Joy” for Local Kids

Jackets of Joy donated 318 jackets to children in Door County during their 2015 campaign. Jackets of Joy is coordinated by Sophia Pollman, a junior at Sevastopol High School. Pollman took over the family project three years ago as a part of her reign as Door County’s Miss Outstanding Teen. She made Jackets of Joy – Giving the Gift of Warmth her platform. She is currently the reigning Miss Lakeshore’s Outstanding Teen 2015. Jackets of Joy has collected, purchased and donated more than 928 jackets in the past three years under her lead.
