Spree of Stolen Vehicles in Sturgeon Bay

No suspects have been identified in the four vehicle thefts that have occurred over two days this week within the City of Sturgeon Bay and County of Door.

Three of the vehicles were found crashed, according to the Sturgeon Bay Police Department and Door County Sheriff’s Office, which are investigating the thefts.

The vehicles were stolen from a variety of residences, and all had the keys inside them. The stolen vehicles were taken from the 200 block of South 18th Avenue, the 10 block of West Pine Street, the 1400 block of Georgia Street and the 2600 block of County U.

The Sturgeon Bay Police Department is urging the public to lock up vehicles and not to leave belongings such as keys or valuable items inside.
