St. Peters Offers Divorce Recovery Meetings

St. Peters Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay is offering DivorceCare, a 13-week divorce recovery meeting that consists of group discussion, prayer and videos featuring the nation’s foremost expert on divorce and recovery.

These weekly DivorceCare groups are designed to become an “oasis” for divorced or separated individuals. The program takes a biblical approach to divorce, separation and related issues. It emphasizes that the real healing from the intense pain of divorce must begin with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is the 10th year and 13th series that St. Peters has offered DivorceCare to the community. To attend these sessions contact Bob Johnson, the facilitator for this group, at 920.743.4431 ext. 161. The next course begins on Sept. 3 at 6:30 pm.
