Stanley Cup Will Visit DC

A report in the Janesville Gazette today confirms a rumor I heard a couple weeks ago – the Stanley Cup, awarded to the NHL Champion each year, will visit Door County Aug. 18.

Pittsburgh Penguins left-winger Ruslan Fedotenko owns a home in Door County and gets to take Lord Stanley’s Cup for a day. He’ll be showing it off around the peninsula as part of a long-standing champions’ tradition.
