Steel Bridge Songfest Weekend Passes on Sale

With the sixth annual Steel Bridge Songfest planning well underway, tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, April 2 at 11 am. Tickets may be purchased at any TicketStar ticket outlet and at http://www.TicketStarOnline.com. Cost of the tickets are $25.

“Steel Bridge 2010″ will welcome hundreds of musicians to this years four-day event, taking place June 10 – 13 in downtown Sturgeon Bay. The songwriter’s festival will feature many returning artists to the downtown venues and a number of fresh faces and musical sounds.

Again in 2010, Steel Bridge Songfest plans to host “Take It To The Bridge” – a free, two-day street festival during the daytime at the corner of 1st Avenue and Michigan Street – in celebration of historic preservation and the current rehabilitation of the Veterans Memorial Michigan Street Steel Bridge.

In the evenings during the “Take It Inside” event, Thursday through Saturday, 15 venues throughout downtown will become more alive than ever, as musicians from around the nation and world take to the stages. They’ll offer a vast variety of styles, ranging from Folk, Americana and Bluegrass, right on down to Punk, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal – and everything in between.

Weekend passes will provide access to all venues, as well as priority entrance over those without passes who can opt to pay a per venue cover. The per venue cover varies by venue, and some venues may require a pass for entrance.
