“Steel Magnolias” Opens at TAP July 30

Opening July 30 at Third Avenue Playhouse is Stage Door Theatre Co.’s Steel Magnolias. Directed By James Valcq, with costume design by Karin Kopischke, the cast includes Kay Allmand, Katherine Duffy, Amy Ensign, Anya Kopischke, Claire Morkin and Claudia Schneider.

The performance schedule is July 30 – Aug. 22, with performances at 7:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday, and at 2 pm on Sunday. A special Tuesday performance is set for Aug. 18, and there’s a pay-what-you-can preview set for July 29. Tickets are $25 general admission, $10 students and $5 children (11 and under).

TAP’s annual fundraiser will be held Aug. 10 at 6 pm at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. There’ll be food, entertainment, silent auction and cocktails. Tickets are $50, available by calling 920.743.1760 or visiting ThirdAvenuePlayhouse.com.
