Sturgeon Bay Arts Group Announces First Fridays

The Sturgeon Bay Artist Collective, a group of artists that hosts Sturgeon Bay’s popular Art Studio Crawls, will begin “1st Fridays,” art events that will be held on the first Friday of every month from May through December.

During the event, artists will have their galleries and home studios open later than usual (until 8 pm in most locations) and offer refreshments, demonstrations, and a chance to visit with the artists. By holding these once-a-month events, the group hopes to further establish Sturgeon Bay as a vibrant arts community.

The initial “1st Friday” will be held July 2. A list of participating artists and a map of gallery locations will be posted each month at http://www.ArtStudioCrawl.com.
