Sturgeon Bay Motorcyclist Killed in Accident

On Sunday, May 22, at 9:03 pm, the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, along with Luxemburg Fire, Rescue and First Responders, were dispatched to a motorcycle accident with injuries on County AB and Thiry Daems Road in the Township of Red River. William D. Lindal, 25, of Sturgeon Bay was transported to Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, where he was pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation. The victim was not wearing a helmet. Speed and alcohol are both believed to be involved and contributing factors in the crash.
