Sturgeon Bay Youth Football Meet-and-Greet is Aug. 4

The 2016 Sturgeon Bay Clippers Youth Football Camp was held July 18-21 at Sturgeon Bay High School. The camp was run by Sturgeon Bay high school and youth coaches. The camp provided instruction in the basics of playing defensive and offensive line, running back, receiver, quarterback, linebacker and defensive back. Individual and large group sessions were held daily including 7-on-7 passing games as well as a punt, pass and kick competition. The camp mission was to give youth players an opportunity to develop individual and team skills as well as daily lessons in sportsmanship, healthy living choices, and responsibility. Participants were players from incoming fourth through eighth grade. The camp was open to all public and parochial students from throughout the county.

Casey RabachCamp concluded with former Sturgeon Bay Clippers, Wisconsin Badgers, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Redskins center Casey Rabach talking to the players about gaining success in football, school and life.
