Sturgeon Bay’s Gallery Jenwah Features “Kindred Spirits”

On Friday, Dec.17 at 8 pm the “Art of Music” Winter Concert Series will present “Kindred Spirits,” with national touring artists Hans Christian and Dorothy Scott. The concert costs $15 and will take place at Gallery Jenwah in Sturgeon Bay.

Often compared to Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Jeff Buckley, Scott has a style and sound uniquely her own. Her live performances are passionate, fierce, and funny. Since releasing her newest CD Pass It On, Scott has been touring the U.S and sharing time between Brooklyn, NY and Door County.

Christian is a composer, musician, and producer whose work has been featured on a number of recording projects, from his participation as a cellist, bass player or multi-instrumentalist, to his collaborations with other artists as a producer and engineer, to his works as a composer of solo recordings. Christian produced many projects, including a collaboration with Kim Waters under the name RASA (www.rasa-music.com) and several recent solo recordings.
